The first boutique hotel in the neighborhood, Life House Little Havana is a celebration of Cuban culture set within a historic 1920s tropical mansion in Miami’s Hispanic heart. This Latin lineage informs every aspect of the 33-room hotel—from the art and aesthetics through to the food concept. Photography by Leandro Feal captures the youthful, electric energy of the Cuban capital, while design elements include monochrome floors typical of Havana mansions, and colors that reflect the texture of the locale - from guava pink to the distinctive magenta of nearby market boards. The lobby cafe and courtyard, Parcela, derives its name from the Latin term for “urban farming”, which Life House embodies with its backyard food forest and creative use of space. The rooftop terrace opening this fall features an herb garden, sun chaises, and a restaurant and bar, Terras, where guests can enjoy family-style Latin American street food overlooking the Miami skyline.
